Data
Sheets
You
can print out these data sheets at 100% scale on a sheet of paper to
easily determine if a part
in hand will fit the pads. The data sheets are at sufficient
resolution to do this. Please forgive us if
we don't provide gerber files of our product line.
A
brief note about design philosophy of these products:
Most boards are generally 0.031" thick, with the exception of B500 and
B501 which are 0.062",
and designed to support connectors. Thin boards allow for easy trimming
with wire cutters.
All 0.100" spaced thru holes are 0.070" pads with a 0.050 plated hole,
somewhat oversize to
accommodate extra large pins or multiple wires. Pads are often designed
to be somewhat longer
than standard for ease of hand soldering, rather than machine placement
/ reflow.
Most of all, these products are designed to save you time.
Circuit board revision, ordering the
revised boards, ordering more components, then board assembly are
schedule killers, and huge
distractions from the technical issues at hand.
If you rarely design electronics, you will probably find all those
'extra' adapters on our boards an
expensive nuisance. We understand that. Those of you who
have been around a while, well know
the value of spare adapters in the lab, rather than having to order
repeatedly. If you can get three
additional uses out of each board, that's three times you didn't have to
re order and three times you
didn't wait for shipment. Customers tell us that kind of scenario is
quite typical.
